RETELIT PRESENTS E-VIA CLOUD STORAGE: A NEW ON-DEMAND SERVICE COMBINING FLEXIBILITY, EASE OF USE AND SECURITYThe Italian Operator extends its offer of services aimed at the business market with a complete package, based on its own network infrastructure and Data Centers, which allows companies to expand their Data Backup & Storage environments using extremely high-performance fiber-optic connections.

Just three months from the launch of services aimed at the business market, Retelit is strengthening its portfolio with e-via Cloud Storage, dedicated to medium and large enterprises which need a simple and transparent platform to expand their storage environments, using a fiber-optic connection via private Ethernet or public Internet connectivity.
Immediately available using standard protocols and designed for easy management, the service allows companies to drive down hardware and software costs. Through the e-via Could Storage service, customers can request and activate Data Backup & Storage resources which are supplied in a Public or Private Cloud context. Flexibility and scalability are the key characteristics of the service, guaranteeing easy implementation and quick management of virtual infrastructure. The service allows personalized Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutions to be implemented autonomously or with the support of the e- via design team, being able to rely on the performance provided by fiber-optic connections.
Supplied by Retelit's own Data Centers within IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) model, the service guarantees the integrity and physical and logical security of data, in addition to maximum reliability and top performance. It also includes disk space - available on Distributed Storage infrastructure at ISO 27001- certified Data Centers in Milan and Bologna - fiber-optic connectivity based on Retelit's own infrastructure and security features provided through Managed Firewall platforms.
The modular and scalable e-via Cloud Storage architecture is composed of virtual features which can be dedicated to single clients, combining the advantages of Cloud solutions with personalized configurations. Its exceptional flexibility is also protected by a "pay-per-use" model, that envisages granular and incremental flat capacity, according to the customer's expansion requirements (e.g. 2TB, 7TB or 10TB). The service also includes the option to install supplementary software (Agent) to manage backup processes, at the client's site or on virtual machines within the Data Center.

Thanks to the ultra-broadband network, these data are available as though they were onsite, and we can offer all of this at a cost which is balanced with the actual use of resources", explains Giuseppe Sini, Retelit Sales Manager.
