Patralekha, who shot into the limelight with CityLights, in which she played a small town girl will now be seen as a modern girl in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next production venture. The film, whose title has still not been disclosed, will be a romantic drama. “The script of the film is fabulous. The character I am playing is very interesting. I cannot disclose much, but I am playing an urban girl and is in sync with who and what I actually am. I am glad that I signed this film and have the opportunity to work with Anuradha (director) and Sanjay Leela Bhansali (producer). Working under Sanjay Leela Bhansali is like a dream come true and though he isn’t directing it, I hope one day, I am able to work under his direction.”
The film will be directed by writer Anuradha Tiwari, who has written scripts for Fashion, Heroine and Jail. “A formal announcement will be made soon, but I am very happy to work for a Sanjay Leela Bhansali production,” said Tiwari. According to sources close to the project, Angad Bedi (who was earlier seen in F.A.L.T.U and will be seen in the upcoming Ungli) is in talks for the film, which will go on the floors in January or February.
