In his upcoming action entertainer, 'Action Jackson', Prabhu Dheva wanted him to look even leaner than what Ajay already is and asked him to lose 17 kilos. And Ajay lost it. Prabhu Dheva has introduced the sword fight after many years in Hindi cinema, where we will see our hero fighting with a sword and knife.He took 10 days to select the knife as he wanted a knife similar to the one that is used by Ninja fighters.

The film has three heroines who are all in love with Jai (name of Ajay’s character). While Sonakshi Sinha and Yami Gautam are known actresses, Prabhu Dheva wanted a new girl as his third actress, a girl who was tall, lean- bodied, glamorous with the right attitude and he found Manasvi Mamgai, who won the Miss India title in 2010. She is so nuts about Jai in the film that she gets herself tattooed ‘AJ’.
