A welterweight bout between Tyron Woodley and Kelvin Gastelum will co-headline a UFC 183 event on January 31 in Las Vegas.

UFC officials announced the pairing this week with the event scheduled to take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Gastelum (10-0) is just three days removed from his first co-headliner appearance at UFC 180 last weekend in Mexico City. The welterweight submitted Jake Ellenberger in the first round via rear-naked choke.

Gastelum, winner of The Ultimate Fighter 17 reality series as a middleweight, is 5-0 in the UFC with two finishes. He is based out of Arizona but held his last fight camp at Alliance MMA in San Diego.

Woodley (14-3) is coming off a first-round knockout over Dong Hyun Kim in August. He has won three of his last four, all by way of knockout. A former Strikeforce title challenger, Woodley's two losses in the UFC have been to Rory MacDonald and Jake Shields.

A non-title middleweight bout between Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz will also headline UFC 183.
