Former Mayor D. Sanjay finances the ceremony for poor couples

Like every year, this year also, former Mayor D. Sanjay financed mass weddings of poor couples on the premises of Sankary Educational Institutions, here on Wednesday.MLC and former PCC president D. Srinivas, his younger brother and PCC secretary D. Surender, their family members, followers, friends and relatives of brides and bridegrooms and several others attended the ceremony and blessed the couples. The venue was beautifully decorated with flowers and colourful curtains.

Before the beginning of the ceremony, Mr. Srinivas and others garlanded the portrait of Indira Gandhi at the venue to mark her 97th birth anniversary.

Mr. Sanjay, the first Mayor of Nizamabad Municipal Corporation, and the elder son of Mr. Srinivas, has been serving as a generous benefactor for half a dozen years now by financing mass weddings.
