Doncaster crash: Condolence books for crash teenagers open

Books of condolence for five teenagers killed in a car crash on Saturday have been opened in Doncaster.

Arpad Kore, 18, Jordanna Goodwin, 16, Megan Storey, 16, Blake Cairns, 16, and Bartosz Bortniczak, 18, all died following the crash at Conisbrough.

The books are available to be signed at Doncaster's Mansion House and at the Minster.

They had originally been opened at Danum Academy, Doncaster, where four of the teenagers were pupils.

Ros Jones, Mayor of Doncaster, said: "These venues will provide a place of quiet reflection and we hope it will bring some comfort to friends, families and the community."

The five who died were in a Toyota Corolla which was involved a collision with a Seat Leon on the A630 at about 21:40 GMT on Saturday.

A 21-year-old man from Doncaster, who was driving a Vauxhall Corsa, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving before being released on bail.

Inquests into the teenagers' deaths were opened on Wednesday.
