New Delhi: When Bollywood's 'dabangg' Salman Khan decides to make his younger sister's wedding a grand affair—the entire country makes it a point to witness the event without a miss. While everyone did notice all the pre-wedding preparations and Bollywood A-listers who attended the event, very few knew about the fact that Arpita made an emotional speech that day.

According to a leading daily, the bride, who was feeling all choked up and emotional had written a piece, which she wanted to recite on her wedding day. However, reports suggest that when the moment came, she could not speak as she got all emotional, and rather asked actress Priyanka Chopra to read it on her behalf.

Therefore PeeCee read her emotional speech, in which she had said how lucky she was to have been brought up in a family like Khans. She added that her brothers were the pillars of strength in the family, where Sohail, Arbaaz and Salman hold a special place in her heart.

An emotional Arpita, thanked her stars for having Salim Khan, Salma and Helen as parents. Arpita got married to Delhi-based businessman Aayush Sharma on November 18, 2014 at the Royal Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad.
