It's a little too early to dream of spring

It can be comforting to know that around the corner, after all the wind and rain, colourful spring clothes beckon seductively. However, viewing spring 2015 was a little discombibulating to say the least yesterday.

Littlewoods showcased its next season's looks with a flash of colour and a hint of flesh, but somehow it all felt a little premature given we're only weeks into our coats after a balmy autumn. And hey, there's Christmas party dressing only around the corner and desk-to-dinner outfits to put together for December.

So we viewed clothes that won't be available to buy for another three months and discovered yet again that footballers' wives have a nifty fashion thing going on. I'm not talking Victoria Beckham here, but Coleen Rooney, whose collaboration with Littlewoods is going down a treat with the brand who have an army of online buyers to consider when choosing new trends for spring/summer 2015.

Coleen's lace collar bib dress costs €89 and looked great with navy wedges (€28 from the Shoe Box range) and a €28 structured bag.

Trends next season run from fun festival pieces to boho maxis, modern military and flowery bloom patterns.

There were vintage resonances thrown in for good measure and I loved the 1950's twin sets and a playsuit worthy of screen siren, Marilyn Monroe.
