When Richa Chadda, the journalist called up Abhay Deol!

Richa Chadda may be a well-known actress now but not many know that the outspoken and frank girl, who can hold your interest with numerous tales, anecdotes and mimickry, was a journalist before she was seen on the silver screen. And it is also interesting to know that she interned for a men's magazine. She recalled calling Abhay Deol then for an interview.

She revealed, "He asked if he could be featured on cover but somebody else was already being featured so that couldn't happen,” says Richa, further adding, “I was however charmed by his confidence.He said, ‘I have my two to three films coming up, you will anyway give me cover some day.’ And it did happen. He was on the magazine cover after few months and went on to become a thinking woman’s sex symbol for that issue.” Later, Richa was cast with Abhay in Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!. “I don't think he would remember the girl who called him was me,” Richa chuckles. And the Richa has no plans of disclosing this secret very soon.
