Shruti Haasan joins Vijay, Sridevi's fantasy film

Shruti Haasan has finally joined the principal shooting of her upcoming fantasy film in Chimbudevan's direction. The actress is teaming up for the first time in her career with Vijay and the film also stars Sridevi, Hansika and Sudeep in important roles. She had signed the film earlier this year; however, her role in the film has been kept under wraps, although she did acknowledge in an earlier interview that it's a fabulous script.Sridevi is making her comeback in Tamil cinema after a gap of almost 26 years and she's playing the role of a queen whereas Hansika is playing her daughter's role. A song was canned on Vijay and Hansika recently in a special set erected in Chennai.
