More plans unveiled for Ordsall regen

A former district centre in Ordsall is to be redeveloped into 140 houses and apartments as part of the £100m regeneration of the area.

Developer LPC Living wants to build 89 two, three and four-bedroom houses and 51 one and two-bedroom apartments on the Salford site.

There will also be improved pedestrian links and public realm works as part of the scheme.

A public consultation will take place in the coming weeks ahead of the submission of a planning application early next year.

Scott Neal, marketing manager at LPC Living, said: "We have worked closely with Salford City Council and the local community for the past ten years to help transform the area with quality, affordable homes and much needed new amenities.

"The former district centre is an important site at the heart of the estate and its redevelopment will help further transform Ordsall."
