Aarons linked with Toon exit

Cape Town - Jamaican-born midfielder Rolando Aarons has caught the eye of three leading English Premiership clubs according to reports in British media.

The Daily Star report that Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool are all interested in the services of Rolando Aarons.

The 19-year-old midfielder has risen through the ranks at Newcastle but now the club face the task of convincing him to resist the urge to move to one of the English Premiership's biggest clubs.

Capped at under-20 level for England, Aarons has impressed during Newcastle's 2014/15 league campaign with reports linking Arsenal with a serious interest.

Aarons current deal expires at the end of next season and Newcastle will need to either get the starlet to sign a new deal or cash in on the player.

Aarons is unlikely to feature when Newcastle United host Queens Park Rangers at St. James' Park on Saturday (17:00 kick-off) with the pacy youngster suffering with a hamstring injury.

Newcastle's newest star has scored two goals in five appearances so far this season.
