Aurobindo Pharma Promoter Nityananda Reddy Attacked, Shares Choppy

Mr Nityananda Reddy, who is also one of the promoters, supervises the overall affairs of Aurobindo Pharma, India's fourth biggest drugmaker by market value. He has 4.72 per cent stake in the company, according to a recent statement on the BSE.

Shares in the company were volatile in morning trade. As of 09.40 a.m., Aurobindo Pharma traded 0.42 per cent lower at Rs 1,137.50 and underperformed the healthcare sub-index in the BSE, which was up 0.3 per cent. (Track shares)
