CHANDIGARH: The Indian School of Business will see heavy activity this weekend, with students from various B-schools and industry leaders set to converge at its Mohali campus.
ISB will play host to a number of corporate leaders and students from various B-schools from across the globe over three days at the ISB Leadership Summit on November 21 and Advaita 2014 - the annual B-school competition on November 22-23.

Sharing details about the ISB Leadership Summit, Saurabh Mandar, student coordinator from PGP class of 2015, said, "The ISB Leadership Summit (ILS) is the annual flagship event of ISB's Graduate Student Association that provides students with the opportunity to interact with eminent business leaders." He further added that the event aims to host some of the boldest and most innovative leadership thoughts from across countries and sectors. "It brings together the best minds at the leading-edge of industry, policy and academics through focused and interactive debates," Mandar said
The theme for the 12th edition of the summit - ILS 2014 is 'Future. Today'. The summit will witness participation from eminent industry representatives. Kiran Karnik, director, board of directors of Reserve Bank of India, will be the keynote speaker. Other speakers include Jaijit Bhattacharya, partner at KPMG handling infrastructure and government services; Vikram Kotak, CEO and MD at Fortune Financial Services; Yogesh Kochhar, director, strategic engagement, Microsoft Corporation, India; Ankur Warikoo, head, Groupon, APAC; Zubin Irani, president, United Technologies and Usha Titus, joint secretary, economic affairs, ministry of finance among others.
MBA students from various B-schools across the globe, including the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) will battle it out in various competitions at 'Advaita 2014' being held on November 22-23. This edition of ISB's flagship event will comprise a series of business plan competitions, exciting simulations, case study presentations, quizzes and interactions with eminent leaders of the industry, being put together by 16 professional clubs and 12 social clubs at the ISB.
Vishal Kulkarni, student coordinator for Advaita from PGP class of 2015, said, "Bringing together the very top business schools across India, "Advaita" will pitch the brightest minds of the country against each other in exciting competitions and simulations designed to test every quality that a good manager would be expected to possess post graduation from a premiere business school."
