JAMMU, Nov 18: Surankote police has recovered suspicious money from a passenger traveling in a vehicle.
As per police sources, a police team led by SDPO Surankote Ajay Sharma intercepted a passenger vehicle in Potha area of Surankote on Jammu-Poonch highway.
During checking, police recovered Rs 1.95 lakh from a passenger, who failed to furnish any valid proof regarding the cash.
Later, the cash was seized by police and the same was handed over to election flying squad. Investigation into the matter was on till the last reports.
