PESHAWAR:
Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) has reiterated the importance of Kalabagh Dam and stressed upon its construction after redressal of concerns.
PML-Q K-P President Intikhab Khan Chamkani mentioned it while addressing a press conference on Tuesday.
Chamkani said that an all-parties conference has been planned where everyone will be requested to table their concerns after a thorough discussion.
He maintained that the dam should not be constructed if it is not feasible, but if the concerns are nothing but political gimmicks, then they should not be allowed to obstruct the construction.
While taking a jibe at the federal government, Chamkani alleged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif cares about Punjab alone, discriminating against other provinces.
On this occasion, former Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Women Wing Peshawar general secretary Rozina Khan also announced to switch sides and join PML-Q along with her supporters.
