City students organize 'Chatra Sansad' to celebrate international students' day

Students of city-based Parul Group of Institutes recently celebrated international students' day by participating in 'Chatra Sansad' - students' parliament where they discussed ideas on 'Shikshit Bharat, Saksham Bharat'.
City students organize 'Chatra Sansad' to celebrate international students' day
VADODARA: Students of city-based Parul Group of Institutes recently celebrated international students' day by participating in 'Chatra Sansad' - students' parliament where they discussed ideas on 'Shikshit Bharat, Saksham Bharat'.
An online registration process was carried out for students' interested to participate in the this students' parliament.

Over 150 students had registered out of which six students came forward for the elections of Prime Minister in the parliament.
After voting by all the members, Rifaqat Jumani, a student of final year computer science engineering, was elected as Prime Minister.
Shivang Bhalara, a student of final year mechanical engineering, was designated as Leader of Opposition whereas Chandan Agrawal, a student of second year mechanical engineering, was elected as Speaker and Raj Javiya, a student of third year mechanical engineering was elected as the deputy speaker.
During the parliamentary session of this students' parliament which lasted for over two hours, both the ruling party and opposition debated over various bills to increase the literacy rates across the country.

During the session, major points to improve literacy and education standards by creation of special schools farmers, children and women oriented education, skill oriented education and application oriented education emerged as major points.
The program was coordinated by Dr Pawan Dwivedi, professor Yash Chawla and professor Dhruvil Shah as per guidance of Dr S S Mantha, chairman of the All India Council of Technical Education.
