MarkWest Energy Partners To Offer $500 Mln Of Senior Notes Due 2024

MarkWest Energy Partners, L.P. (MWE) and its unit MarkWest Energy Finance Corp. Tuesday said they plan to initiate a public offering of $500 million of senior unsecured notes due 2024.

The partnership plans to use a portion of the proceeds to repay borrowings under its revolving credit facility, while the rest will be used for funding the capital expenditure program and for providing working capital for general partnership purposes.

Wells Fargo Securities, Barclays, BofA Merrill Lynch, Goldman, Sachs & Co., Morgan Stanley, RBC Capital Markets, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and US Bancorp are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
