Moginie James moves HQ to Cardiff Gate

Estate agency Moginie James has relocated its head office to Cardiff Gate Business Park.

The property business has secured the 1,790 sq ft premises on a five-year lease, after being based at its Cyncoed branch in Cardiff for seven years.

A total of ten staff will move to the head office from across Moginie James' finance, human resources, customer and client services and sales progression teams.

It is the second stage of the agency's expansion strategy, which began with completion of its fifth branch in Pontcanna earlier this year. That branch, on Sneyd Street, has created five jobs.

Moginie James aims to increase its total number of branches to eight, across Cardiff and further afield, by early 2017.

Director Nick James said: "The new head office will give us the space we need to accommodate our growing teams, as well as the opportunity for further expansion.

"This is an exciting period for the agency as our strategy for long-term expansion begins to come to fruition.

"The property market is in the strongest position it has been for some time, and 2014 has certainly been a successful year for the company."

He added: "This truly feels like the start of a new era for Moginie James, and I am excited to see the agency continue to develop and grow."

Moginie James was established in 2001 with a team of four staff at an office in Roath.

It now employs 50 across five branches with up to 700 properties on its books at any one time.
