Jamal Suleiman recently let his fans know that he has been stripped of his membership from the Syrian Actors Syndicate headed by Zuhair Ramadan.

The Syrian star explained the situation through a Facebook status, "Zuhair Ramadan after becoming head of the Syrian Actors Syndicate decided to practice his honorary duties and strip me and other colleagues of our membership from the syndicate on the claim that we support the bloodshed in Syria....Zuhair Ramadan's statement is an ongoing sick mentality of fascism that has divided Syrian society and led it to the catastrophic condition it is at today, and led to the tragic bloodshed of innocent people and destruction of the country. This mentality is based on lies and betrayal and false accusation of people without any respect to the truth...I wrote and will keep writing and believing that the only road to survival for our dear country is change in democracy and having a government that is fair and democratic and not have officials abuse their power."

Jamal stressed that he wished that someone like Zuhair would have the decency and courage to admit that he makes decisions based on the desire of government officials.

"I denounce all acts of violence and bloodshed in all its forms and do not support foreign interference in Syrian matters as I was accused of. I never asked for foreign military interference in my country and never took part in any bloodshed of my family and Syrian people," he added.

Jamal ended his social media monologue with, "Yes your Excellency, head of the syndicate, there is a conspiracy against Syria and your kind are the ones who opened the doors for it, and are responsible for the bloodshed of innocent Syrians. I beg you do not hesitate to strip me of my membership for it gives me no honor to be part of a syndicate that is headed by you."
