The yoga guru already has Z-category security provided him to by the Uttarakhand government, but the decision to grant him central security cover was taken after the Intelligence Bureau submitted a report citing a threat to his life outside his home state.

5. Invest in Gujarat, says Anandiben

Two months ago, in a speech that flared tempers, Anandiben Patel had asked industrialists in Mumbai to invest in Gujarat. On Monday, the Gujarat Chief Minister returned to Mumbai with a delegation which suggested that if Mumbai is the city of dreams, then it is where people can sleep. But if they want their dreams to be a reality, investors ought to head to Gujarat.
