LUDHIANA: Two days after a seventh standard student was killed in an accident outside her school on Jalandhar bypass, a truck crushed a eight-month-old boy after it fell from the lap of another child at Shimlapuri on late Monday evening. The deceased was identified as Raj Kumar, son of Gharu Ram of street number 7, in Shimlapuri.

The driver has been arrested under section 304 A of IPC (causing death by negligence).
