The body of infant, Rajbir Singh, was brought to the family's native Deviwala village in Faridkot on Monday. The situation was tense at the village following the death of the child.

Kinder Kaur said, "We were stopped near the gurdwara and in the clash I lost my balance and fell on the ground. My son was caught in the stampede and was badly injured."
