Mindtree to open new delivery centre in Europe

Mindtree is planning to strengthen its presence in the European market by opening a second delivery centre.

The company started operations of its first delivery centre in Europe at Belgium in 2012.

The company also said it has not finalised the location of the centre but will be in the German speaking region in Europe. The Bengaluru-based IT services company also said it is seeing more demands from the clients and would invest more in the European continent. “The IT services delivery is witnessing a tremendous change. Our clients want delivery to be made more locally. We will invest more in the European market, especially in the U.K. and German speaking countries in the Europe. We will also expand our delivery centres in Europe,” said Mindtree CEO and Managing Director Krishnakumar Natarajan.

Mindtree has already partnered various universities in Europe to find local talents. The firm aims to increase its revenue from Europe to 30 per cent from 28 per cent.
