The 27th National-level athletic meet of schools coming under the Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samsthan was launched here on Monday. Over 700 students from across the country will be taking part in the three-day tournament that is being held at Sharada Vidyalaya, Talapady around 20kms from Mangaluru.
The schools will be competing under ten different banners, with multiple states coming under one zone.
Over 25 events will be held in the categories of boys and girls (under- 13, 17 and 19). State health minister U.T. Khader inaugurated the athletic meet.
