NC committed to equitable development of all regions: Slathia

SAMBA, Nov 16: Former Minister and Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Vijaypur Surjeet Singh Slathia said that people of the Vijaypur constituency can witness the developmental activities carried out in the constituency by itself.
He stated this, while addressing public meetings at Dhiansar, Chowni, Sarwa, Kairanwali, Chak Bana, Gudwal and Thaan Swankha areas in Vijaypur constituency.
“Construction of lanes and drains, installation of tube-wells, black topping of roads, providing of electric poles, up-gradations of electric transformers, change of old electric wires, up-gradation of schools in Vijaypur are some of the developmental works being carried out in the constituency”, he stated.
Slathia said that the NC is committed for equitable development of all the regions in J&K and in the ensuing Assembly elections, NC would emerge winner with full majority to form the next Government in the State to serve the people under the leadership of Omar Abdullah who is a visionary leader and believes in empowering the common man to ask the questions to the government.
He added that NC is committed to create better infrastructure facilities for the people of the area especially living in the remote and far-flung areas without discrimination and people must see the performance of Omar-led-Government during the last six years before exercising their franchise.
Slathia said that many people of different political parties will come to make their claims but the people must realize the performance of the candidate on the ground while making the choice for their candidate in the Assembly election.
He appealed to the people to vote in his favour in the Assembly election and strengthen the hands of Omar Abdullah for future development of J&K State especially in Vijaypur constituency.
Among others present were Bhagwan Singh, Vijay Singh, Raman Gupta, Sodagar Gupta, panches, sarpanches, etc.
