Sushmit Sriram (MVM) and N. Vidhya (AKG) emerged winners in the men’s and women’s categories respectively of the State table tennis championship, here on Sunday.
While Sushmit defeated M. Subash (AGORC) 11-8,12-10,11-9,12-10 in the men’s final, Vidhya beat C.R. Harshavardhini (MVM) 11-3,11-6,11-2,11-4 in the women’s summit clash.
The Tamil Nadu Table Tennis Association felicitated S. Selenadeepthi for having been selected to represent India in the World junior championship to be held in Shanghai from November 30 to December 5.
