Kavita Seth brings fusion notes with her son in her next album

Kavita Seth made her entry into Bollywood with the biggest hit of that year 'Iktara in Wake Up Sid' and she followed it up with another hit number 'Tumhi Ho Bandhu' from 'Cocktail'. And while she has been getting a lot of offers from Bollywood, she has been rather 'choosey' about what she sings.

But her musical journey has been constantly developing as her son Kanishk Seth is also producing music with her now.Collaborating with her son, Kavita is now ready to release her next album, which is a fusion of trance and sufi music worked on Amir Khusrou’s poetry. She says, “It took us almost four years to complete the album, but I am happy with the outcome. Not even once in such a long time did we feel like giving up even though it required a lot of work.”
Kavita feels that if you are true to your music then there will always be takers for good music. She says, “Urban audience loves music, and even when I sing my sufi songs, I can see a lot of youngsters enjoying. If you are true to your music, you will always find listeners.”
