A city court on Friday admitted a case against Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati after hearing a petition filed by a devotee of Shri Sai Baba, accusing him of hurting religious sentiments, through his speech at Haridwar on June, this year.

BHOPAL: A city court on Friday admitted a case against Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati after hearing a petition filed by a devotee of Shri Sai Baba, accusing him of hurting religious sentiments, through his speech at Haridwar on June, this year.
Court has posted the next date for hearing of the case on January 20, 2015.
A petition was filed by Bhopal resident Sandeep Sanwer a couple of months ago.
"Court asked us to submit evidences and after going through them admitted the case and has scheduled the next hearing on January 20," counsel for Sanwer, Mahendra Verma told TOI.
