KOLKATA: Unidentified bike-borne goons gunned down a 32-year-old businessman at Sodepur in North 24-Parganas late on Friday night.
Subhas Das, a resident of Natagarh in Sodepur, was returning home while the goons fired three rounds of bullets at him from point blank range.
Subhas was rushed to Panihati State General Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Police suspect the murder could be the fallout of a dispute over an extra-marital affair following which another murder had taken place about two-and-a-half years ago.
Subhas, who owned a studio, was also an accused in the murder of his paramour’s husband Indra Das, who was an advertising agency owner. Police are looking for those involved in the murder of Subhas. However, no one has been arrested yet.
On May 27, 2012, Indra was shot near his Natagarh residence . Police detained his wife Rupali and arrested Subhas, who was released on bail after spending six moths in jail.
