You can set up a film industry even in Karimanagar : RGV
RGV holds the credit for revolutionising filmmaking right from his debut film. He popularised the usage of steadicam and cutting egde sound with his debut film Shiva and nearly 23 years later, he stunned everyone by proving that you can make a film on a ultra-low budget with a 5D camera. Later, he came up with the concept of auctioning a film to bypass the middle men in the distribution system and now, he's moving one step ahead to spread the knowledge in smaller towns and cities in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
As per the latest news, the director is going to deliver a lecture in Sathavahana University, Karimnagar on November 18 about the immense potential of making films and even releasing them, no matter where you live. "Even if you don't know a single person working in film industry in Mumbai, Hyderabad or Chennai, it's possible to make films and release them. The world is now a global village and the entire film industry doesn't have to be based in a single location," says RGV, who invited film enthusiasts to attend his lecture to understand how they can pull it off even in a place like Karimnagar.
