Students take pledge to keep school clean

Students of Kendriya Vidayalaya of Srikakulam undertook a pledge to keep the school premises neat and clean as part of Bala Swachh Bharat Mission aimed to involve children in the movement.

Field Publicity Officer G. Kondalarao and District Public Relations Officer L. Ramesh administered oath on the occasion of Children’s Day while asking the students to understand the importance of Swachh Bharat from childhood. Mr. Kondala Rao said students of Japan schools spend at least half an hour daily to clean their premises instead of depending on workers to do so.

School principal Jaya Lakshmi Raj and headmaster Arnepalli Sudhakar said several programmes were planned for next week.
