Brisbane: After concluding his three-day Myanmar trip, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Brisbane, Australia on Friday. Here, Modi will attend the G20 summit over the next two days and meet several world leaders, before participating in bilateral engagements with the Australian government. 5:35 pm: A minor controversy erupted during PM Modi's visit to Queensland University of Technology (QUT), where the Indian map on display had Kashmir missing from it. This had prompted a strong protest by the Indian contingent and MEA Spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin confirmed that QUT has issued an unqualified apology for the error.

2:32 pm: Prime Minister Narendra Modi meets his UK counterpart David Cameron in Brisbane. Cameron stresses that relations with India feature among the top priorities of the UK government.
2:20 pm: PM Modi, meanwhile, tells EU to take advantage of the new economic environment in India.
2:10 pm: Prime Minister Narendra Modi leads an Indian delegation in talks with members of an EU team. At the talks, European Council President Herman Van Rompuy tell PM Modi that the European Union is keen to re-engage with India in all areas, especially trade.

1:15 pm: In a noble gesture, PM Modi has tweeted that he has “personally” asked organisers to arrange for cartoonist Ramesh Chandra's visit to Sydney's Olympic Park where he will address the Indian community on Monday. An Indian TV Editor had earlier highlighted that Oz-based Chandra, who is suffering from cancer, was very keen to meet PM Modi but was short of means to come to the Olympic Park.

8:00 am: After the Summit gets over, PM Modi will travel to Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne to attend bilateral engagements from November 16 to 18. In Canberra, PM Modi will hold talks with his Australian counterpart Tony Abbott. The Australian PM will host a reception for Modi at the iconic 161-year-old Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). The Indian PM will also address a joint sitting of Federal Parliament.

7:50 am: On the sidelines of the G20 Summit, PM Modi will hold talks with several world leaders including Germany's Angela Merkel, Britain's David Cameron and France's Francois Hollande.

7:45 am: At the G20 Summit on November 15 and 16, Modi is expected to voice his concerns over "jobless growth", stressing that economic growth should also create employment. He is also likely to seek international cooperation in the black money probe back home.
