Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge was one of the biggest blockbusters when it released and continues to be a favourite among audiences. The film will complete its 1000 week run at the Maratha Mandir theatre, where it has been playing since 1995, that too tax free. According to a report on mid-day.com, lead actress Kajol was supposed to shoot a promotional video for the same but a leg injury forced the actress to back out. A source close to Kajol was quoted telling mid-day.com, "She was at home when she sprained her leg and had to get a plaster. She has been advised rest for two weeks. She was to shoot for the 'DDLJ' promotional video and give interviews for the same."
Further to reports, the entire star cast including Kajol will be present at Maratha Mandir on 12th December when the film completes its 1000th week run there.
