9 injured in bus-truck collision in Kawasaki

Nine people were injured after a bus and small truck collided at an intersection in Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, on Friday morning.

According to police, the accident occurred at around 9:15 a.m. NTV reported that the bus was turning right at the intersection when it was hit by the truck coming from the opposite direction as the traffic signal was changing.

Seven passengers and the bus driver as well as the truck driver sustained injuries, police said.
