RAJOURI, Nov 13: Criticizing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for raking up the issue of imposing Hindu Chief Minister (CM), for Jammu and Kashmir State, the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) State Vice President, Vibodh Gupta today said that the PDP is creating an atmosphere of communal divide among the people of the State.
Addressing a function which was organised in Naushera constituency to support BJP candidate Ravinder Raina for the Assembly elections, Vibodh blamed that it is the ‘calculated strategy’ and ‘mutual understanding’ of both PDP and Congress party to create wedge among the people in all the three regions-Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh of the State by adopting different opinions on the installation of CM.
Vibodh said that PDP is again creating a controversy by raising the issue of installing only Muslim CM being the Muslim majority State.
Vibodh asserted that the people are very much familiar with such types of tactics always being adopted by Congress and PDP on the onset of elections and also in the past during 2008 these parties, after remaining in Coalition for more than five years, parted away when a few months were left for the completion of their tenure.
Vibodh lambasted that it is very shocking on the part of these parties which are gauging the ability of a person on the basis of his religion or the region to which he belongs and not by taking into consideration the aspirations of the people of the State.
Vibodh stressed that these days people are wise enough that they will not be hoodwinked on the basis of such cheap tactics which are continuously being raked up by some leaders from time-to-time for their own political mileage but this time they succeed in their designs to be-fooled the people by covering their misdeeds.
Prominent among others who addressed the gathering were Mahila Morcha President Neena Sharma, Sarpanch Parmjeet Singh and others. They appealed people of the Naushera and Sunderbani to support Ravinder Raina who is a young and dynamic youth leader which will further strengthen the BJP to bring the area on the map of progress and development.
