Man with 175 gelatin sticks arrested

RAJKOT: The Special Operations Group (SOG) of Bhavnagar police on Thursday arrested one more person in connection with the recovery of explosives in Budhel village last week.
Police arrested Raju Marwadi, who had got the contract to dig a well in the farm of Mankod Rajput in Tagdi village. He was arrested with 174 gelatin sticks and booked under section IPC 286 (Negligent conduct with respect to explosive substance) and sections of the Explosive Substance Act.
The police have already arrested five persons including a juvenile, who had allegedly stolen the explosives from the farm to trigger blasts just for fun. Those arrested include Bijal Vankar (53), Talib Sandhi (38), Bipin Sumra (21) Kaushik Sumra (22) and a juvenile boy, all of whome are natives of Budhel.
