INDORE: Forty eight hours after a 16-year-old boy was murdered on streets of Rawji Bazaar over an old rivalry, no arrests have been made in the case so far.
Rawji Bazaar police station in charge Chandrabhan Singh Chadar said, “Prime accused Rahul Chouhan and his accomplices are still on the run. Separate teams have been constituted to search the accused,” said
Armed with country-made pistol, sword and a knife, four bike-borne youths, intercepted Shashank Hardia on the middle of the road, just when he had moved out of his house on Tuesday evening.
The accused attacked him and fled the spot, leaving the profusely bleeding Shashank behind. The victim received critical injuries on neck and chest. Shashank was rushed to MY Hospital where he later succumbed.
Initial investigation has revealed that Rahul Chouhan along with three others, including Rahul, Kanha, Sachin and Nitin are involved in the horrific incident. Empty cartridges that punctured Shashank’s heart were also recovered from the spot, said police.
