The cricketing world today heaped rich praise on Rohit Sharma after he smashed a record ODI score of 264 in India’s fourth game of the five-match series against Sri Lanka.
Current and former India cricketers especially took notice of Rohit Sharma’s stupendous feat of completing his second double hundred, breaking Virender Sehwag’s record of 219 in the process.
India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who is being rested for the series, tweeted: “Very well batted Rohit.thats Rohit for everyone,sheer talent.Enjoy and Witness the class in action.”

Sanjay Manjrekar felt Rohit’s effort was outstanding despite Sri Lanka’s ordinary bowling.
