Central Zone DSP Namagiri Babji has expressed concern over the present education system which made students passive. Sports and games would provide relief to students from stress and tension, he said.

Inaugurating sports week ‘Rim-Zim’ at Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Rajahmundry, on Wednesday, the DSP advised students to maintain good relationship with neighbours and develop positive attitude towards society.

School director Vijaya Prakash said that their curriculum was designed in such a way that students would love to learn academics as well as games. He said that they were giving emphasis on physical as well as on mental growth of children. Senior principal M.V.V.S. Murthy and principal A.S.N. Murthy were also present.

Before inaugural function, the students held colourful march past and different sports and games were kicked off by the DSP by leaving hundreds of colourful balloons into the sky.
