Hull have posted a positive injury update on three of their key players, with Allan McGregor, Michael Dawson and Nikica Jelavic in line to return after the international break.

First choice goalkeeper McGregor is back in full training and could return for the visit of Tottenham on November 23 after overcoming a shoulder problem that has kept him on the sidelines since the end of September.

Striker Jelavic and defender Dawson were both injured in the 2-2 draw at Arsenal on October 18, with Croatia international Jelavic ruled out during the warm-up and Dawson in the closing stages at the Emirates Stadium.

They are both progressing well in their rehabilitation and could also return for the Sky Live clash with Spurs.

"Nikica is three-and-a-half weeks post-medial meniscectomy and he has stepped up his rehab this week,” head of medical services Rob Price told the club’s official website.

“We are aiming for him to return to training next week. At this stage, his knee has reacted extremely well to rehab.

"Michael is now three-and-a-half weeks on from a lateral ankle ligament rupture and he is scheduled to return to first team training this week."

Alex Bruce is back running following a hamstring injury but captain Curtis Davies is still battling a back problem suffered in the 1-0 defeat at Burnley.

"Curtis was withdrawn at Burnley last weekend with back pain. The symptoms are settling nicely although it is too early to give a full assessment," added Price.
