Musharraf demands midterm polls in 2015

Musharraf vowed that APML will emerge as leading political force to play key role in politics.

MULTAN (Dunya News) – All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) chief Pervez Musharraf on Wednesday said that he doesn’t see any government system in place and demanded the midterm polls in 2015 to “get rid of corrupt rulers”, Dunya News reported.

Addressing the workers convention via telephone, former President said that an interim government will establish as result of sit-in protests in Islamabad. He said following the reformation by interim government, the next general elections can take place next year.

He said he will soon move the court against his disqualification to contest elections. Musharraf alleged that rigging took place in general elections 2013, claiming that the policies made by the ‘bogus’ government led to increase in terrorism and harmed the economy. He said he will rid the nation of the ‘corrupt rulers’.
