Kareena Kapoor signs Anand L Rai's next women centric comedy

Kareena Kapoor who is busy basking in her Singham Returns glory and is now on the groove, shooting for Kabir Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan along with Salman Khan. and now we hear, she has been signed on for Anand L Rai's next which is a women centric comedy.

The Bollywood diva had earlier declined nine films in a row but it seems now she's looking forward to more work in the industry. The film will be a light hearted comedy set in the backdrop of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Like all other Anand Rai films, this too will be about a small town girl essayed by Kareena Kapoor.

Kareena seems to be in no hurry to sign up for projects and is happy doing plump movies like a Singham Returns or a Bajrangi Bhaijaan. But the script of the film touched Kareena and she was left impressed with the subject. Yet another time, she will be the hero of the film and the fact that this film is not a serious one has upped Bebo's excitement as well.
