Payel to play Maa Durga in new teleseries

Payel De, who won hearts through TV soaps Durga, Behula and Bodhu Kon Alo Laglo Chokhe, is all set to return to the small screen as the protagonist in a new mythological teleseries, Maa Durga.
The actress, who took a break after Bodhu Kon..., confirmed that the shooting for the new series has begun and the telecast should start soon. “I have always loved mythology and my stint in Durga and Behula got me really good response from the audience.I am looking forward to this new series," Payel said.
The actress added that she will be able to showcase her dancing skills in this series, as the story revolves around the various avatars of Maa Durga. “This is for the first time I am shooting in chroma and it's an entirely new experience. I am enjoying the use of vibrant colours," she said.
