A CBI official said the agency has received a copy of the FIR registered on charges of murder and conspiracy by Shashank’s father Vinod Yadav at the Sector-24 police station. The FIR states that Shashank was supposed to give a written submission to the CBI regarding the fraud case.

“We have planned to first visit the spot in Noida and then meet victim’s father and inquire about his allegation,” said the official.
Meanwhile, Vinod Yadav said he had no doubt that his son was murdered. “After the incident, I approached several people and sent petitions to almost all top authorities requesting for CBI probe, because big people seem to be involved behind the murder. I have no information so far that investigation has been transferred to the CBI.”

He added, “The company under the scanner of the agency had members who earlier were employed EIL and there was a pressure on Shashank. My son had told us about the pressure but never gave details.”

According to his father, on March 12, his son left the office at around 9:54 pm and reached home. He asked his roommates for a hard disk and then got busy on laptop. His roomates told him that they last spoke to him at 12:30 am.
