Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy to give the music for Vikram Phadnis' debut film

Vikram Phadnis, who has been part of the Indian fashion fraternity for 25 years and has dressed some of the biggest names in Bollywood, is all set to make his debut as a director with the film 'Nia'. Starring Bipasha Basu and Rana Dagubatti, the film will go on floor in January 2015 and will have music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, it was revealed during a recent press conference. Sameer Anjaan will be writing the lyrics for the film.

To be shot in Australia, the film is based on an emotional subject that celebrates life and all it has to offer.Says Vikram, "It’s a huge moment for me and I'm happy to be celebrating it with the industry. I’m excited to announce my directorial venture Nia. It's a great subject that touches an emotional chord. We will start shooting in January for a 50 day schedule and I look forward to getting behind the camera".
