JAMMU, Nov 10: BSP candidate from Jammu West constituency, Mohinder Kashyap has attacked the State administration for not regularizing the plots in Janipur Housing Colony and Old Janipur Colony.
In a statement Mohinder Kashyap said that repeated requests have not yielded any results even after a lapse of more than 40 years, when these colonies were regularized in favour of their actual allottees as well as possession holders. Even no authenticated documents were issued to such plot holders and further transactions are made only on a simple affidavit, thus causing great inconvenience to plot holders.
State BSP president T D Langeh has urged the Government for initiating appropriate steps for speedy allotment of plots to the original allottees and possession holders.
He also said that the Government has not taken any heed to redress the grievances of OBCs and Pensioners despite 27% reservation to OBCs and further 4th CPC installment of arrears payment for pension of the retired employees of the State.
