Superstar Beyoncé Knowles has channeled Kylie Minogue in a pair of figure hugging metallic hot pants, much to the delight of her 20 million followers.

Who likes short shorts?

It seems Beyoncé went on a ‘selfie spree’ over the weekend, uploading a series of shots to her personal Instagram and Tumblr accounts.

The 33-year-old showed off her famously curvaceous figure by donning a pair of bronze leather hot pants and a graphic printed blouse.

In a range of images posted to her Tumblr ‘I Am Beyonce’, the singer modelled a revealing bodysuit which read “I got 99 problems but my a** ain’t one”.

Fuelling the rumour mill that her and husband Jay-Z might relocate to Paris, the international performer uploaded an image of her daughter Blue Ivy with the Eiffel Tower visible in the background.

The family spent a significant amount of time in the French capital in recent months, and were rumoured to be house hunting while there on vacation.

Beyonce has amassed over 20 million followers on her personal Instagram account, and Lauren Wirtzer-Seawood, the woman who handles digital strategy for Queen Bey’s company Parkwood Entertainment has confirmed that it is Beyoncé’s favourite social platform.

“Currently, we don’t use Twitter at all. It is a personal choice. I think as an artist, Beyoncé really prefers to communicate in images. It’s very hard to say what you want to say in 140 characters,” Wirtzer-Seawood told musically.com while at the Web Summit in Dublin last week.

However, that hasn’t stopped some 13 million Twitter users from following the official @Beyonce account which has only sent eight tweets in over two years.

Next up for the power player is a foray into fashion.

She recently confirmed she has teamed up with Topshop for a new sportswear range, which has yet to be named.

"I could not think of a better partner as I continue to grow the Parkwood business. I have always loved Topshop for its fashion credentials and forward thinking," she said in a statement.
