It was a function held for worship of foundation stone which is to be laid for construction of proposed Leuva Patel Samaj Bhawan in Haridwar.

The function was held in Jamkandorna, the fort of Porbandar MP and BJP leader Vitthal Radadia whose son Jayesh Radadia is minister of state in Gujarat government.

Chief Minister Anandiben Patel was present here for Shilanyas vidhi.

In his speech, Vitthalbhai who is also president of Saurashtra Leuva Patel Samaj Trust described Anandiben as ‘Gem’ of Patel community.

Industrialist Karsanbhai Patel was present on this occassion and in his speech he asked Patel youths to continue to do farm practice, as it is the real identity of Patidar(Patel) community.

Patidar leaders Vasant Gajera, Savjibhai Dholakia, Govind Dholakia, Jayesh Radadia, Naresh Patel, Mathurbhai Savani, Lavjibhai Dalia, DK Sakhia, Rameshbhai Dhaduk etc were present on this occasion.

In her speech, Anandiben praised Vitthalbhai Radadia for hosting wedding of widow of his late son, like her father and giving equal right in property to her even after her remarriage. Anandiben described Vitthalbhai as torch bearer for community. Anandiben felicitated Vitthal Radadia for showing way to community.

Anandiben asked Patidar community to nurture the values represented by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and told community members how state government is constructing the tallest statue of world featuring Sardar Patel.
