Angadiya firm employee robbed of 22L

PALANPUR : In a daring attempt, two motorcycle borne persons robbed an angadiya firm employee of Rs 22 lakh in Mehsana on Saturday evening.
Inspector J T Sisodiya of Mehsana police station said that Jayanti Lal Patel, manager at Ganesh Prakash Kantilal Patel Angadiya firm, was about to leave for his home after locking the office when two persons approached him on a bike and snatched the bag containing cash from him.
The office is located near railway godown. Since both of them were wearing helmets, their identity could not be known. They fled from the spot. Police have cordoned off the roads in the city and efforts are on to nab the two accused. tnn
